Kejriwal accompanied by his deputy, Manish Sisodia, met party founding member Kumar Vishwas who had lashed out at the top leadership after being accused by an MLA of 'plotting a coup'.

India points at involvement of Pakistani state in Poonch attack

New Delhi: Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of the Indian Army Lietenant General AK Bhatt spoke to his Pakistani counterpart on Tuesday expressing grave concern over the incident of intrusion by Pakistani special forces and beheading two Indian soldiers. The DGMO conveyed his concerns over the presence of Border Action Team training camps near Line of Control. Lt. Gen. AK Bhatt said, such dastardly and inhuman act is beyond the norms of civility and deserves unequivocal condemnation and response.

Hockey India for Khel Ratna award to Sardar Singh

New Delhi: Hockey India has recommended senior player and former captain Sardar Singh for the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, India's highest sporting honour. Other players SV Sunil, Dharamvir Singh and Deepika have been recommended for the Arjuna Award while RP Singh and Sumrai Tete have been recommended for the Dhyan Chand Award.

Coaches Sandeep Sangwan and Romesh Pathania have been recommended for the Dronacharya Award. A committee, formed by the Sports Ministry, will decide on the recommendations made by respective sports federation.

Pakistan crosses LoC, beheads two soldiers; India vows revenge

New Delhi:Two Indian soldiers were beheaded by Pakistani Special Forces, which sneaked 250 metres inside the Indian territory across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. The mission was carried outunder the cover of heavy mortar firein the Poonch, officials said. The soldiers killed were NaibSubedarParamjeet Singh of 22 Sikh Infantry and Head Constable PremSagar of 200th Battalion of BSF. A BSF constable Rajinder Singh was injured but is out of danger.

Subsidised LPG, kerosene prices hiked

New Delhi: Subsidised cooking gas (LPG) price was today hiked by Rs 1(point) 87 per cylinder and kerosene rate by 26 paisa a litre. According to state-owned oil marketing companies, LPG price in Delhi will now be 442 rupees 77 paisa, per 14.2 kg cylinder.

However, the price of non-subsidised cooking gas (LPG) was cut by 92 rupees per cylinder. Non-subsidised LPG is bought by consumers who have either given up their subsidies or exhausted the quota of 12 bottles in a year at below market price.

The price of jet fuel or ATF was cut by a marginal 0.4 per cent to 51,696 rupees per kilolitre. Oil firms revise rates of ATF and cooking fuel on 1st of every month based on oil price and foreign exchange rate in the preceding month.
