New Delhi: Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI) organised the 6th Annual Workshop - AHPI Global Conclave on Feb 15-16 at Kaushambi’s Hotel Radisson Blu. The workshop started on Friday morning. Ahead of the workshop Director General, Girdhar Gyani asked the attendees to observe a minute silence to pay homage to martyred CRPF personnel in Pulwama. More than 200 hospital administrators, senior managers and doctors attended the event.
Awards were also given to the institutes doing excellent work in the field of Healthcare and medicine in this workshop. In the prize distribution ceremony, Union Minister of State for Defense, General VK Singh and Rajya Sabha MP Dr Anil Agarwal were present. Yashoda Superspeciality Hospital Kaushambi won the title of best hospital for higher nursing services at the award ceremony. This award was received by Ms Rama Chhetri, the nursing head of Yashoda Hospital, with her other nursing colleagues from General VK Singh.
AHPI’s UP & Delhi-NCR President Dr PN Arora while stressing on patient safety and quality of healthcare said that healthcare facilities to all citizens of India should be accessible easily and also talked about the changes and challenges existing in medical profession today. Renowned names such as Dr Devi Shetty, Dr YP Bhatia, Dr GS Thakur, Dr Umesh Gupta, Dr JL Meena, Dr Vijay Agrawal and Dr Rajiv Seth among others are participating in the workshop. Discussion were also held on Ayushman Bharat, on various diseases and their prevention.
