“Twice a day, right after meals. With milk or with water! Don’t take empty stomach. Punctuality plays a vital role when you are on medications. This makes medicines more painful than the disease itself.”
Is there any better treatment? Which doesn’t require timing? Yes, there is and its known as Music Therapy .Which living organism doesn’t like music or sound? We all do ,it’sour escape from planet earth.
So our researchers have found a better way to treat disorders which only involves a pair of ears and a music player, no water or full stomach.Music is like jingling of bells, chirping of birds and even a heart beating. Music is an important part of all our lives.
All of us rely on it; to get through a bad day, to express and most of all to understand ourselves when no one does.
Music Therapy is an established health profession in which music is used within a therapeutic relationship to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of individuals. In short and simple words it’s a type of expressive arts therapy that uses music to improve and maintain the physical, psychological, and social well-being of individuals—involves a broad range of activities, such as listening to music, singing, and playing a musical instrument. Music is often linked to mood. A certain song can make us feel happy, sad, energetic, or relaxed. Because music can have such an impact on a person’s mindset and well-being, it should come as no surprise that music therapy has been studied for use in managing numerous medical conditions.
Music therapy also provides avenues for communication that can be helpful to those who find it difficult to express themselves in words. Research in music therapy supports its effectiveness in many areas such as: overall physical rehabilitation and facilitating movement, increasing people's motivation to become engaged in their treatment, providing emotional support for clients and their families, and providing an outlet for expression of feelings. Because music can evoke positive emotions and stimulate reward centers in the brain, music therapy is often able to alleviate symptoms of mental health concerns.
Therefore music doesn’t only help u to lift up your spirits but it is also healing your body and soul. It helps in making a surrounding which slows down your heart rate, breathing and thoughts providing peace inside out. It’s true what people say – Sometimes music is the only medicine the heart and soul needs.
