The BJP has accused CM Soren of getting the stone mining lease in his name. The party alleged that Soren had applied for the lease before becoming CM but it was pending. But the district mining officer approved this application in July 2021.

The delegation also demanded the removal of Hemant Soren from the Chief Minister post, his disqualification as an MLA and an order should be given to initiate inquiry against him
