Aadhaar cards made mandatory for operating bank accounts

New Delhi: Government has made Aadhaar card mandatory for opening of bank account and financial transactions of Rs50000 and above. According to a notification issued by Revenue Department, all existing bank account holders have also been asked to submit Aadhaar to banks by December 31, this year. The accounts which are not be seeded with Aadhaar number by due date will become invalid.

Seeking Admission: Time To Look Beyond Colleges In DU

Even students 90 per cent marks are not sure of getting admission into a course of their choice. “They should positively look for an option beyond DU,” says Nitin Yadav, who runs a tutorial service in Gurgaon and acts as an admission counsellor.

CBI Raids Ghaziabad Engineering College In AIIMS Paper Leak Case

New Delhi:The CBI has decided to act on the complaints of cheating in the entrance examination of the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The central agency registered a case to look into the alleged copying of question paper of the examination conducted on May 28 and also carried out searches at seven locations in the country.

Govt Open To Amending Ban On Trade In Cattle For Slaughter, Says Vardhan
