Khalistani Separatists Target Toronto Kalibari in Mississauga, Create Ruckus, Disturb Worshippers

Unruly elements affiliated with the Khalistani separatist-terrorist movement staged a so-called protest outside the Kalibari temple in Canada’s Mississauga also known as Toronto Kalibari. An unruly mob consisting of a dozen or so Khalistani supporters held Khalistani flags and raised slogans against the Indian government.

The so-called ‘protesters’ also demanded justice for Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the separatist-terrorist who was shot dead in Canada’s Surrey in June. The death of Nijjar has led to war of words between Canada and India, with the former accusing New Delhi of playing a role in the death of Nijjar, who is also a Canadian citizen.

North Korea scraps military deal with South, vows to deploy new weapons at border

North Korea said on Thursday that it would strengthen its armed forces and deploy new weapons along its border with the South, a day after Seoul suspended part of a 2018 military agreement between the two Koreas in protest over Pyongyang’s launch of a spy satellite.

North Korea’s defence ministry stated in a statement broadcast by the KCNA news agency that it would resume all military steps that had been suspended as part of the agreement with South Korea to de-escalate tensions along their shared border.

Madhu Sudan said that as the concept paper of the meeting suggests, "we should work on transparent and equitable financing and be vigilant with respect to the dangers of unsustainable financing which leads to the vicious cycle of debt traps."
