House Speaker Mike Johnson has made more than 44,000 hours of Capitol Hill security footage from the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot public on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"To restore America’s trust and faith in their Government we must have transparency. This is another step towards keeping the promises I made when I was elected to be your Speaker," he wrote on Twitter, sharing the links to all the videos.
