Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ravichandran Ashwin remain unbeaten at stumps with India reaching 336/6 in the second Test of the five-match series against England in Visakhapatnam. The former has gone past 150 and the latter has walked into bat in the final stages of Day. Shoaib Bashir and Rehan Ahmed chip in with a couple of wicket each.

Earlier Rohit Sharma have won the toss and India elect to bat first. India have made three changes in their playing XI. Injured KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja has been replaced by Rajat Patidar, who is making his Test debut and Kuldeep Yadav. Mukesh Kumar comes in for Mohammed Siraj. On the other hand, England have made a couple of changes from their last win. Off-spinner Shoaib Bashir is making his debut in place of injured Jack Leach and James Anderson will replace Mark Wood.

Earlier, the Ben Stokes-led England side took little time to surprise India by taking a 1-0 lead in the five-Test match series. It was only India’s fourth defeat in the longest format in the past 10 years. Looking to prove it as an aberration rather than a recurring trend, as a team with the best W/L ratio in the format at home since 2014, India will take field against England in the second Test starting February 2 in Visakhapatnam.

The final session belongs to England. They have picked three wickets. Axar and Bharat went in a similar way trying to play a cut shot and caught at point. Out of nowhere, England has clawed back into the game right at the end. However, it has been a day to remember for Jaiswal. The youngster showed a lot of maturity despite the falling wickets at the other end. He kept his cool and managed to remain unbeaten at the end of the day's play. Both Jaiswal and Ashwin will come in the morning and would be hoping to take India near that 400 mark.
