The Redmi 13C 5G has been announced in India with a starting price of Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. The 6GB + 128GB model will cost you Rs 12,499, whereas the 8GB + 256GB is priced at Rs 14,499. It will be sold in three colours, including Startrail Silver, Startrail Green, and Starlight Black.
The Redmi 13C features a 6.74-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 600nits of peak brightness. The panel operates at HD= resolution. It sports a teardrop notch on the front and a Gorilla Glass 3 coating on the screen. The handset is also dust and splash-resistant.
The budget phone is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, which is the same chipset that also powers the Realme 11x and Realme 11 5G. The device will also offer an option to extend RAM up to 16GB using the phone's internal storage.
The new budget smartphone offers a dual rear camera setup, which has a 50-megapixel primary camera. Under the hood, there is a 5,000mAh battery. Redmi has also given support for an 18W fast charge, but the company ships only a 10W charger along with the phone.
