Modi pledges support to Paris accord; France backs India on fighting terror

New Delhi: India and France have decided to work together to fight against terrorism and climate change. Addressing a joint press conference with France President Emmanuel Macron in Paris on Saturday evening, Prime Minister NarendraModi said terrorism and climate change were big challenges before the world. He said, Paris accord on climate change was an article of faith for India. Modi said, New Delhi was committed to save nature and Mother Earth for the future generations.

In his press statement, French President Emmanuel Macron said Paris was with New Delhi in its fight against all forms of terrorism. He said France will always stand by India to fight terrorism.Earlier, Prime Minister NarendraModi and France President Emmanuel Marcon had one to one meeting at Elysee palace.
