Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth was given a ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi this morning. Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed him at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. He is on a three-day state visit to India. 
Jugnauth paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj called on Jugnauth. 
Prime Minister Modi and his Mauritian counterpart will hold delegation-level talks in New Delhi this afternoon. Agreements are expected to be signed after the meeting. The two leaders will also make a joint media statement. 

Jugnauth will meet Defence Minister Arun Jaitley later in the day. He will also call on President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice-President Hamid Ansari in the evening. 
This is Jugnauth's first visit abroad as Prime Minister after assuming office early this year.
