wo day after the Indian Air Force (IAF) Sukhoi fighter jet went missing, its wreckage has been found. But there is no word on its two pilots.
The Sukhoi-30MKI fighter jet, which went missing on May 23 near the China border around 60km north-west of the Tezpur airbase in Assam, was found close to its last known position.
The Sukhoi, was flown by a squadron leader and a flight lieutenant, took off in a two-aircraft formation sortie from the Tezpur airbase at about 10.30 am on Tuesday last.

Search for flight data recorder and missing crew will be pursued by the ground parties. Search parties of the Army are also attempting to reach the crash site.
