In his meeting with US President Joe Biden at the White House on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his vision for the India-US relationship in this coming decade.

PM Modi redefined the contours of India-US ties through five T's -- Tradition, Talent, Technology, Trade, Trusteeship. He highlighted how their bilateral relations are steeped in a rich tradition of working together.

PM Modi significantly highlighted talent -- seen as his unwavering faith in the youth of these two nations to drive this transformative relationship. He also appreciated the contributions of the Indian diaspora in the US and emphasised the people-to-people linkages between the two countries.

PM Modi also mentioned trade and the need to compliment each other's strengths. The PM also talked about technology to drive futuristic growth.

PM Modi and President Biden mentioned Mahatma Gandhi in the context of trusteeship. When President Biden spoke about Gandhi Jayanti, PM Modi said, "Gandhi Ji spoke about trusteeship, a concept which is very important for our planet in the times to come."
