Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is finally free after the release of his latest film 'Leo' starring Vijay, which released earlier last month. Now, all eyes are on the talented director's next film, 'Thalaivar 171', which is superstar Rajinikanth. Lokesh Kanagaraj has now revealed that he is all set to begin writing the script for the film from next week.

Interestingly, Lokesh also revealed that they are planning to begin shooting for the film from April 2024, after Rajinikanth completes shooting for his film 'Thalaivar 170' with TJ Gnanavel.

Lokesh had earlier also revealed that the script for the film written a few years back between his first film 'Maanagaram' and second film 'Kaithi', which began almost three years after his first film. The successful young director had also categorically confirmed that film will be a standalone film.

The action packed film will have music by Anirudh Ravichander and stunts by the popular stunt duo Anbariv.
