The trail of Covid control measures in the national Capital have clearly shown that the ruling party at the Old Secretariat (AAP) and the Central Secretariat (BJP) are in some kind of a Noora Kushti, a phrase frequently used in the political circles of Delhi for a fixed match. #BJP Forgets #ArunJaitley, It’s Man for All Seasons
Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s first death anniversary fell earlier this week. Given the erudite lawyers contribution in broad basing the Bharatiya Janata Party, and helping and mentoring several important leaders of today, one had expected large scale remembrance meets, events, articles and advertisements. But the party seemed to have missed the date, and when realization dawned it was reduced to just social media posts. How ironical that the memory of an unmatched orator was abridged to micro-blogs.

The Class of 23 which wrote letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi also included name of former East Delhi MP Sandeep Dikshit, who is son of late Chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dikshit. The person fielded by the Congress leadership on the TV channels on the letter-bomb was Pawan Khera, party’s most visible spokesperson. Khera incidentally had a 15-year-long stint as Sheila Dikshit’s Political Secretary. People have been wondering, how the two from Dikshit stable are on two sides of the divide.
