The trail of Covid control measures in the national Capital have clearly shown that the ruling party at the Old Secretariat (AAP) and the Central Secretariat (BJP) are in some kind of a Noora Kushti, a phrase frequently used in the political circles of Delhi for a fixed match. On Thursday Delhi’s Health Minister Satyender Jain blamed Centre of slowing down Covid tests. This was followed by a strong rejoinder from the Centre which said that spread of Covid pandemic could be contained in Delhi only after Union Home Minister Amit Shah intervened. The AAP did not contest the claim rather by the evening, Jain was ‘hoping’ that with the nudge from the Centre, testing in Delhi Govt hospitals would move.
