Modi’s way to the New India of Vivekananda and Deendayal

Ashish SoodAt a time when the country is celebrating 125th anniversary of the famous Chicago speech of Swami Vivekananda and birth centenary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, we are blessed with a Prime Minister who is working round the clock to realize the New India of these two great philosophers of Modern India.
It may be just coincidence for many but I feel this is one of the most auspicious years for Bharat. The almighty has blessed our country with a government which is not driven by imported ideology from the west but has its roots in the ideological foundations of Bharat simultaneously having an open mind for the world. In the past three years, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his cabinet has followed the great visions of these two philosophers in the policy making and their implementation. This is the reason India is gradually emerging as a great power and Vishwa Guru on the world map.

The speech of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Young India, New India  A Resurgent Nation: from Sankalp to Sidhhi,” is not mere a speech but a path for the youths to realize the vision of New India of Vivekanand and Deendayal Upadhyay. In his works the Prime Minister has demonstrated several models and successfully implemented the vision of these great souls. Vivekananda used to say citizens must have respect to the motherland and have a sense of national pride.

Modiji launched Swachh Bharat Mission and even went on to say you don’t have the right to say Vandematram, if you spoil your motherland. By reminding Vivekananda’s letter to Jamshetji Tata and then connecting the youths with the government schemes like Skill India, Make in India; Modiji bridged the link and motivated the youths in the right direction.

Similarly, he also recalled the concept of One Asia of Vivekananda and addressed the world about the vision of his government’s international policy. The declaration of International Day for Yoga is definitely a proud moment for all of us; the Congress government could never dare to think off.

Deendayal Upadhyay’s concept of Antyodya (welfare the man standing at the end of queue) has been the guiding principle for the Modi government’s policy formation and implementation. Bringing lakhs of people in the banking system through Jan Dhan Yojana, providing cooking gas for the poor through Ujwala Yojana, fight against corruption and black money, food security, universal electrification, houses for all the citizens, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme are among many schemes of the Modi government based on the philosophy of Antyodya. It is due to his ideology, Modi government is moving ahead on the path of development of all, appeasement of the none.

It’s high time the efficient youths follow the path of the Prime Minister and took up the role of entrepreneurs to become ‘job providers not the job seekers. Neither all can be entrepreneurs nor can all be job seekers. Today, the country needs entrepreneurs and youths have enormous power to lead the country on this path. India needs a new generation of local entrepreneurs to Tatas and Birlas. My fellow youths, the country needs your entrepreneurship and the government is ready to support Young India in all their endeavors to make New India.
