RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat praises 'The Kashmir Files', says it highlighted reality behind KP exodus

Kashmiri pandits will be able to return to their homes in the valley soon, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Sunday, asserting that work is on to create a conducive atmosphere so that they are never displaced again.

He also praised 'The Kashmir Files' movie, saying it has created public awareness across the country and outside about the reality behind the exodus of Kashmiri pandits from the valley in 1990.

Addressing members of the Kashmiri pandit community virtually on the last day of the three-day 'Navreh' celebrations, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief said that the time has come for fulfilling the pledge of returning to their homes in the Kashmir valley.

Maharashtra: Three held, one booked for betting on IPL match

Police have arrested three persons in Pimpri Chinchwad industrial township near here and registered a case against another one for allegedly betting on an Indian Premier League (IPL) match, an official said.

Acting on a tip-off, the police raided a property in Kalewadi area, where the accused were betting on a match between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals teams on Saturday, he said.

NDA wins 4 northeast RS seats in historic Congress wipeout

BJP and one of its allies on Thursday won all four Rajya Sabha seats from the northeast up for grabs, leaving Congress without any representation from the region in the Upper House for the first time in parliamentary history.
