The 22-year-old won gold in the badminton men’s singles SH6 category (for players with a short stature due to a genetic condition) beating Hong Kong’s Chu Man Kai, the Asian Para Games champion, 21-17, 16-21, 21-17 in the final. 

Actor and Bigg Boss 13 winner, Sidharth Shukla's demise has left us all shook. His body is still kept at the Cooper Hospital in the Mumbai and will be taken to his residence around 11 am as per reports. Further, the funeral procession will begin.

The actor breathed his last on 2nd September and his family, friends and fans just can't sink in that Sidharth Shukla is no more.

The health officials at the Cooper Hospital declared that Sidharth Shukla died of a massive heart attack when he was rushed to the hospital by his family. As per a report by Timesofindia, Sidharth Shukla experienced uneasiness hours before his death. The report suggested that Sidharth Shukla came home around 9.30 pm and shared with both his mother and rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill that he was feeling uneasy. Sidharth's mother and Shehnaaz Gill gave him nimbu paani to make him feel better but it didn't help him.

Shooter Avani Lekhara scripted history as she became the first Indian woman to win a gold medal at the Paralympics, firing her way to the top of the podium in the R-2 women's 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 event. The 19-year-old from Jaipur, who sustained spinal cord injuries in a car accident in 2012, finished with a world record equalling total of 249.6, which is also a new Paralympic record. She is only the fourth Indian athlete to win a Paralympics gold after swimmer Murlikant Petkar (1972), javelin thrower Devendra Jhajharia (2004 and 2016) and high jumper Mariyappan Thangavelu (2016).
