New Delhi:India and Russia have agreed to a roadmap for the development of bilateral defence cooperation.The agreement was reached at the 17th meeting of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Military Technical Cooperation held in Moscow on Friday. The meeting was held under the Co-Chairmanship of the Defence Minister ArunJaitley and the Defence Minister of Russia Sergei Shoigu.

New Delhi: At least 34 people were killed on Thursday when a powerful car bomb struck a bank in LashkarGah, the capital of Helmand province of Afghanistan, as people were queueing to withdraw salaries. It is the latest bloody attack during the holy month of Ramzan. 
Sixty wounded people were rushed to hospital after the bombing at New Kabul Bank.

New Delhi: Sikkim Chief Minister PawanChamling on Thursday extended his support for a separate Gorkhaland state saying it would fulfill the constitutional demand of the people of Darjeeling hills and also bring permanent peace in the region. 

In a letter to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, he said, the fulfilment of the constitutional demand of the people in the Darjeeling Hills will provide long-awaited justice to their patriotism.
