RAPIDX Set To Get Rolling From October 20 With PM Modi Inaugurating Priority Section

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to inaugurate India's first Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) on October 20. PM Modi will inaugurate the 17 Km priority section on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor on October 20. The trains are similar to metro trains in look but their coaches are equipped with features like luggage carriers and mini screens.

Currently in the first phase, the rapid rail service is going to start from Sahibabad to Duhai which is about 17 kilometres long. During this period, this train will stop at 5 stations which are Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, and Duhai terminals.

Israel's intelligence chief on Hamas attack: ‘Responsibility for this is on me’

The head of Israel's Shin Bet domestic intelligence agency took responsibility for failing to prevent Hamas from carrying out its deadly rampage. "Despite a series of actions we carried out, unfortunately, on Saturday we were unable to generate sufficient warning that would allow the attack to be thwarted," Shin Bet director Ronen Bar said in a statement.

“As the one who heads the organization, the responsibility for this is on me. There will be time for investigations. Now we fight,” he said.

On many occasions in the past, Taliban officials and ministers have travelled to regional meetings. The focus of the meetings was always Afghan-centric and discussed issues related to the people in the region.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla making "cash for query" allegations against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra and demanding an inquiry committee against her.

He urged for her 'immediate suspension' from the House alleging that "bribes were exchanged between her and businessman Darshan Hiranandto ask questions in Parliament in exchange for cash and gifts".

Uddhav on meeting socialist leaders, 'If BJP can shower flowers on Pakistani cricketers'

Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday defended his joining hands with the socialist parties in Maharashtra and said if the BJP can shower flowers on Pakistani cricketers, then Shiv Sena can also talk with socialist parties. Sena-Samajwadi alliance is not new in Sena's history as Uddhav's father Bal Thackeray too had alliance with the socialist parties for local elections. But their path diverted in the following years as Shiv Sena shifted to Hindutva ideology. As Uddhav discusses alliance with 150 socialist leaders, his move is being seen as a departure which he countered by criticising the showering of petals on Pakistani cricketers in Ahmedabad.
