'Arrested Pak agents Hindus or related to RSS': RJD on Bihar terror module bust

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) state president, Jagadanand Singh, stirred a massive controversy after he came out in support of the Popular Front of India (PFI), questioning why PFI, which has been formed to counter RSS and protect Muslims, is being termed as an anti-national organisation.

"When a community which is afraid of RSS forms an organisation to serve its own people, why are they called rioters and anti-nationals?" he questioned.

Singh further went on to claim that most of the Pakistani agents who were arrested by security agencies were either RSS members or Hindus.

The AAP wanted to feature Indian scholar Mahmud Hasan Deobandi on the flex board put up several months ago at the 'freedom fighter fountain' in Delhi's Jamia Nagar. Deobandi is one of the co-founders of Jamia Millia University in Delhi's Jamia Nagar.

However, the final print had the photo of Bangladeshi Islamic scholar Maulana Mahmudul Hasan alongside photos of Indian freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Sukhdev, Shaheed Ashfaqullah Khan, and others.
