#Over 90 Flights Delayed At Delhi Airport Despite 'War Room', Scindia Under Social Media Fire

Despite the establishment of 'War Rooms' at six metropolitan airports, chaos at Delhi airport continued for the third day on Tuesday with the departure of over 90 domestic flights either delayed or rescheduled by a few hours. “From 6 am onwards over 90 domestic flights departing from the Delhi airport were rescheduled while over three were reported cancelled,” the Delhi airport’s official website managed by GMR,

As per sources, the delays were attributed to dense fog in the morning leading to air traffic congestion. Meanwhile, Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia, on Tuesday said that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to alleviate passenger inconvenience were issued to all airlines on Monday.

#US Launches Fresh Strikes In Yemen Targeting Houthi Anti-Ship Missiles: Report

The US military on Tuesday carried out a new strike in Yemen targeting anti-ship ballistic missiles in a Houthi-controlled part of the country, two US officials told Reuters, the latest military action against the Iran-backed group over its targeting of Red Sea shipping.

US officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the strike on Tuesday targeted four anti-ship missiles. The strike has not been previously reported.

India's COVID-19 vaccine, Corbevax, has been granted an Emergency Use Listing by the World Health Organisation, the company which manufactures it in India said Hyderabad today. Corbevax is based on a protein sub-unit platform and manufactured by the pharmaceutical firm Biological E Limited in India.

Mahima Datla, Managing Director of Biological E Ltd said: “We are pleased with the WHO Emergency Use Listing (EUL) because it would help us use the platform to continue developing COVID-19 vaccines as and when it starts impacting public health. We are confident that this endorsement from WHO will bolster our global fight against COVID-19.''

#Indian Forces To Wait For Government Directions To Leave Maldives Amid Row: Sources

Indian defence forces will wait for directives from the government on the issue of withdrawing its presence in the Maldives by March 15 following an announcement on the same by the island nation's President Mohamed Muizzu, defence sources told indiatoday.in.

According to the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), India currently has 77 Indian soldiers and assets.

The development came amid a diplomatic row that erupted last week after three deputy ministers in Muizzu's government posted derogatory social media posts against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
