Will issue advisory to Qazis to tell grooms not to resort to triple talaq: AIMPLB to SC

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) told the Supreme Court that it will issue an advisory to Qazis to tell bridegrooms that they will not resort to triple talaq to annul their marriage. 
The affidavit filed by the AIMPLB in the apex court today said that it has decided to issue an advisory through its website, publications and social media platforms to Qazis regarding triple talaq in the Nikahnama.

Rajini is welcome to BJP, but let him join politics first: Amit Shah

Rajinikanth is welcome to join the Bharatiya Janata Party, but he has to first enter in politics first, said BJP president Amit Shah in response to a query at an India Today event in Delhi. 
The Tamil superstar had hinted at a possible entry in politics last week while addressing the media. He, however, did not specify which party he would like to join.
“When he has to enter politics, how can I decide that? From our end, every good person is welcome to join politics,” Shah said. He also denied having a conversation with the superstar.

Indian national arrested in Pakistan for not carrying travel documents

New Delhi:An Indian national was arrested in Islamabad on Sunday for reportedly not carrying proper travel documents.

News agency PTI, quoting Pakistani media reports, the Indian man, identified as Sheikh Nabi Ahmed, who hail from Jogeshwari East in Mumbai, was taken into custody on Friday after he failed to produce any travel or visa documents.
According to Pakisatni police, the Indian national was walking along Nazimuddin Road in Sector F-8, Islamabad, when he was stopped at a check post. Police demanded to check his visa documents after he told them that he was an Indian citizen.

BSF, Punjab Police bust Pak, Canada linked terror module

New Delhi:Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police have busted a terror module with links to Canada and Pakistan. A Punjab police spokesman said, two terrorists related to the module were arrested near the Indo-Pak border when they were looking for the spot where the consignment of weapons reached from Pakistan was buried.

NASA names new species after its ‘former trainee’ Kalam

New Delhi:In great news for India, scientists at NASA have named a new organism discovered by them after the much-loved A P J Abdul Kalam.Till date, the new organism -- a form of a bacteria -- has been found only on the International Space Station (ISS) and has not been found on earth! 
In a report by PallavaBagla for PTI, researchers at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), the foremost lab of NASA for work on inter-planetary travel, discovered the new bacteria on the filters of the International Space Station (ISS) and named it Solibacilluskalamii to honour the late president, who was a renowned aerospace scientist.
