External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, following the second 2+2 ministerial dialogue on Tuesday, said that there is real momentum in the India-Australia comprehensive strategic partnership.

Outlining the major points pondered upon during the talks, Jaishankar said: “There are many firsts in our (India-Australia) relationship this year. We have made a new beginning with the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, the economic cooperation and trade agreement has entered into force and this is the first year, we are seeing its impact which has been very positive on our trade.    

Rajasthan Election 2023: The BJP is trying to tick all the boxes in the Rajasthan assembly election with the party promising something for every section of the society. While the party has already promised subsidized LPG to woo the women voters, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today made another big announcement saying that if voted to power in the state, the state BJP government will give Rs 12,000 per year to farmers under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. At present, farmers get Rs 6,000 per year under PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi.

Prime Minister Modi on Sunday arrived at Narendra Modi Stadium to attend the World Cup Final match between India and Australia that the latter won. The prime minister was joined by Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles.

Australia recorded their sixth World Cup win on Sunday by beating India in the final of the 2023 edition.

After India lost the World Cup Final, Prime Minister Modi took to X to appreciate India’s efforts throughout the tournament and said that the country stands with them.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday flagged the dangers of 'deepfakes' and said the developers of artificial intelligence should consider tagging their products to caution people about AI-enabled deception.

"A new crisis is emerging due to deepfakes produced through artificial intelligence. We have a big section that does not have the wherewithal to verify their genuineness and there lies the concern," Modi said, adding that he had raised the matter with people in the AI industry.

The Israeli military on Thursday (local time) said it found a tunnel shaft used by Hamas in an outdoor area at Al Shifa Hospital, the biggest medical facility in Gaza. The UN Palestinian refugee agency, on the other hand, said there would be no aid deliveries to the Palestinians in the besieged enclave amid intense fighting between Israeli troops and Hamas terrorists.

Israel had conducted a raid on the Al Shifa Hospital on Wednesday, asserting that it was being used by Hamas as a control centre beneath the medical facility. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said it found huge caches of weapons, ammunition and explosives at Al Shifa and Al Quds Hospital, another medical facility in Gaza.
