After Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to Australia, the documentary of the Indian PM that is banned by the Centre was aired inside the Parliament of Australia.

Greens senator Jordon Steele-John said that he felt angry over Australian PM Anthony Albanese's failure to discuss human rights issues in India with PM Modi. He also said that the Australian PM too must be willing to accept criticism of its nation's own failures as well, SBS reported.

PM Modi was on a 3-day visit to Australia wherein he held bilateral talks with his Australian counterpart.

Asaduddin Owaisi said that according to the Constitution, the Lok Sabha Speaker is entitled to inaugurate the Parliament building, not the PM.

Asaduddin Owaisi of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen on Wednesday echoed the same sentiments of the 19 opposition parties, and objected to the inauguration of the new Parliament building by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but alleged that his party was not contacted by those who are against the event.

Without confirming whether the AIMIM will attend the ceremony or not, Owaisi said, “If Birla does not inaugurate the new Parliament, then we will skip the ceremony."

Speaking at the event after a receiving a rousing welcome, PM Modi said that India's relationship is often characterized by the "3Cs", "3Ds" and "3Es", adding that they have now gone far beyond these labels.
