Cataining the side with Kohli only taking the field to bowl, Rohit Sharma (60 retired off 41) showed sublime touch alongside oening partner KL Rahul (39 off 31) as India chased down Australia's 152 for five in 17.5 overs.

₹ 200 Crore Money Laundering Case: Actor Jacqueline Fernandez Appears Before Probe Agency ED

 

Actor Jacqueline Fernandez appeared before the Enforcement Directorate or ED today for questioning in connection with an over ₹ 200 crore money laundering case being probed against alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekar, officials said.

Jacqueline Fernandez deposed before the federal agency around 3:30 pm after skipping its summons at least thrice earlier.

Fernandez, 36, has once appeared before the federal agency in August and recorded her statement under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in this case.

Reacting to the recent spate of attacks against Hindus in Bangladesh, lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar asked how the nation's prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, could allow such incidents to happen under her watch.

Javed Akhtar said that those who are "trying to crush a vulnerable minority are bullies, cowards and sick communalists".

He took to Twitter to express himself. He wrote, "What is happening in Bangladesh is a matter of great shame. Those who are trying to crush a vulnerable minority are bullies cowards and sick communalists. How can Sheikh Hasina, who is known for secular values, let this happen under her watch."

Aryan Khan tells officials: Will work for the poor & downtrodden, make you all proud

 

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, who has been in jail since October 3 in connection to a drug-bust case, assured NCB officials during a counseling session that he would work for the welfare of the poor.

According to reports, Aryan has also promised to walk down the right path and not do anything to tarnish his name in the future, an official reportedly said on Saturday.

Aryan is currently lodged in Arthur Road prison after he was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) following alleged drug seizure at a party from a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on October 2.
