'KGF: Chapter 2' becomes third highest-grossing film in Hindi

'KGF: Chapter 2' continues to create history. The film has become the third highest-grossing film in Hindi with a collection of Rs 343 crores.

The magnum opus, originally made in Kannada, has beaten lifetime figures of Salman Khan-starrer 'Tiger Zinda Hai' (Rs 339.16 crore), Aamir Khan's 'PK' (Rs 340.8 crore) and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Sanju' (Rs 342.53 crore). The film is inching towards the Rs1,000-crore mark at the overall box office.

The'KGF' franchise has been a trendsetter and has many firsts to its credit. 'KGF: Chapter 1' is the first movie in India to release in 5 languages.

Hindi our national language, says Karnataka minister after CM backs Kannada actor

Karnataka Minister Murugesh Nirani has said Hindi is considered our national language and sided with Ajay Devgan, after Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai backed Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep.

A day after a row erupted over the national language following a Twitter spat between Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgan and Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep, the Karnataka Chief Minister and Minister Murugesh Nirani waded into the issue.

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn took a sarcastic dig at Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep after the Vikrant Rona actor said 'Hindi is no more a national language'. Ajay tweeted in Hindi, and a part of it can be translated as 'Hindi was, is and always will be our mother tongue and national language'. Twitter is divided by Ajay's statement.

Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrates Eid with family, shares picture of the 'perfect' family

On the special occasion of Eid, Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a special family picture to give us a glimpse of their royal attire in a 'not-so-perfect' family photo.

The picture shared on Instagram includes her husband Saif Ali Khan, sons Taimur and Jeh. Saif's sisters Saba and Soha Ali Khan are also seen in the picture, alongside Kunal Kemmu and daughter Inaaya.

The makers and star cast of Dasvi are currently enjoying its success. The movie stars Abhishek Bachchan, Nimrat Kaur, and Yami Gautam in lead roles. Interestingly, Abhishek is seen playing the role of a Haryanvi politician, while Nimrat is seen as his wife in the movie. On the other hand, Yami plays the role of a police officer in Dasvi. The audience liked their performance in the film. And, a success bash for the film was organised on May 02.

Actor Dharmendra back at home from hospital, suffered muscle pull in back

Veteran actor Dharmendra has returned home after being hospitalised for suffering a muscle pull in his back. Dharmendra, who was reportedly shooting for Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital.

The actor on Sunday confirmed that he got discharged from the hospital and is currently recovering. He shared a video on Twitter, wherein he informed his fans and followers that he is back home with their “good wishes" and “blessings". In the clip, Dharmendra revealed that he suffered a “big muscle pull in the back" after which he got hospitalised. “So, don’t worry. I’ll be more careful now," he added in the clip. He also requested his fans to not pay heed to the rumours surrounding his health.
