Is it even Cannes Film Festival without OG Aishwarya Rai Bachchan slaying on the red carpet? The Cannes veteran went big and bold for her first red carpet appearance of the season. Aishwarya, who is one of the most popular celebrities at the film estival, walked the red carpet at the screening of Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny on Thursday night. The actress was dressed in an outfit completely out of her comfort zone - a black gown with a giant silver hood that extended into a train. Aishwarya finished her look with her signature crimson lips.

Two gentlemen accompanied Aishwarya down the red carpet to adjust her train as she posed for the cameras. "Not supposed to comment on the outfits but Aishwarya's is very striking," announced the red carpet compere on the official live stream.

Newly appointed Ambassador of the United States (US) to India Eric Garcetti on Tuesday met Shah Rukh Khan at the actor’s residence ‘Mannat’ in Mumbai, and discussed Bollywood and it’s “huge cultural impact” across the globe.

Garcetti took to Twitter to share about his visit to King Khan’s mansion. “Is it time for my Bollywood debut? Had a wonderful chat with superstar @iamsrk at his residence Mannat, learning more about the film industry in Mumbai and discussing the huge cultural impact of Hollywood and Bollywood across the globe,” the US Envoy said in a tweet.

Alongside this fun caption, Garcetti also shared pictures with SRK where he can be seen posing for the camera. In another picture, Garcetti holds a yellow colour football in hand while he is surrounded by Shah Rukh’s manager Pooja Dadlani and his wife Gauri Khan.

Shah Rukh Khan launched wife Gauri Khan's first foray into publishing, a coffee table book called My Life in Design. The book was launched in Mumbai on Monday and the actor shared details of Gauri's hectic schedule, calling her the busiest of the Khans. He went on to say that no matter what the family did during the day, they make it a point to get together for dinner when they are in Mumbai.

The proud husband was seen launching Gauri's coffee table book, which is published by Ebury Press. It features exclusive photos of the Khans, including Shah Rukh and their three children, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan. The book also showcases the Khans' famous abode in Bandra called Mannat, where the actor's fans gather to get a glimpse of the superstar.

Actor Parineeti Chopra's mother Reena Chopra shared a heartwarming note, a day after the actor got engaged to Raghav Chadha. Parineeti and Raghav were rumoured to be dating for quite some time. Raghav is the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Reena shared a photo of Parineeti and Raghav from their engagement and wrote, “There are reasons in your life that make you believe all over again and all the time that there is a God up there. This is one of them.” She also added hashtags like ‘truly blessed’ and ‘thank you God.’

She also thanked those wishing her and the Chopra family on the occasion. She wrote, “I wish to thank all of you who have reached out and poured your blessings and wishes for them.” Reena also added some inside pictures from the ceremony which was held in Delhi.
