"The government's comments, certain Union Ministers' interviews and the posts on social media by those supporting the government about the students who are struggling to save their lives are like poking an already bleeding wound," said Stalin, urging PM Modi to issue a stern warning to those acting in such a manner.

CM Stalin also claimed that it is due to the fact that NEET is a stumbling block for students and snatching away medical aspirations from poor backgrounds. DMK is opposing it, he said, adding that priority should be given to scrapping NEET.
