A bus carrying Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) workers rammed into a truck in Madhya Prdaesh’s Khargone district leaving 39 passengers injured. The accident took place late Sunday night near Kasrawad. The injured were rushed to a district hospital.

The passengers were on their way to attend the ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh‘ in Bhopal, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a mega congregation of party workers today.

BJP workers mostly from Khaparjamli, Rupgarh and Rai Sagar of Bhagwanpura were travelling on the bus.

BJP has organised ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’ on the birth anniversary of Jana Sangh co-founder Deendayal Upadhyaya to mark the formal culmination of the party’s five ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatras’ that took place across the state
