Revenue Secretary Sanjay Malhotra will destroy foreign cigarettes on Wednesday (October 25).
Revenue Secretary and the CBIC chairman will destroy 80 lakh foreign sticks worth Rs 10.06 crores.
Of these, 76 lakh foreign cigarettes worth Rs 9.38 crores have been seized by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence.
At the same time, 4 lakh foreign cigarette sticks worth Rs 68 lakh have also been caught by Delhi Customs Preventive.
