21 Maoists surrender in Chhattisgarh

In Chhattisgarh, 21 Maoists have surrendered before Bastar police. They were involved in many violent incidents, including attacks on security forces.
The 21 Maoists who laid down their arms yesterday before police in Jagdalpur, included one PLGA platoon member carrying Rs 2 lakh reward and another two outlaws carrying Rs 1 lakh each on their head. 

Three of these surrendered cadres belonged to Malkangiri District of Odisha. In another major development, a hardcore Maoist Podiyam Panda also surrendered before Sukma police yesterday. He was wanted in 19 cases including Tadmetla & Burkapal attacks on security forces.
