A huge explosion in Kabul, close to the Indian Embassy, left at least 80 people dead and 350 others injured. However, all Indian Embassy staff are safe.
Though the embassy does not seem to be the target of the blast, which, according to local police was a car explosion, windows and doors of its building have been partially damaged due to the impact of the explosion.
Iranian Embassy is said to be the target of the explosion, but it was not confirmed by Afghan Government.

Images of heavily damaged cars and injured being rushed to hospitals by emergency services were the scenes at the blast site. A huge plume of smoke could be seen rising from the area.
