22 passenger charred as bus collides with truck in Uttar Pradesh

New Delhi: At least 22 passengers were charred to death in a road accident in Bareilly district in the wee hours of on Monday. The accident occurred when a Baharaich bound State Road Transport Corporation bus collided head-on with a truck.        

The accident happened on Lucknow Delhi highway at Rajaupur under Bethrichainpur  police station when a Baharaich bound UP State Road Transport Corporation bus collided head on with a truck coming from opposite direction. After the collision bus caught fire in its fuel tank. Police has said that 37 passengers were traveling in the bus.

10 are injured of them 3 are in serious condition. Both driver and conductor of the bus are injured. 
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced financial assistance of two lakh rupees to the next of kin of Bareilly road accident deceased. 
Financial assistance of fifty thousand rupees to each seriously injured and twenty five thousand rupees each to injured received normal injuries has also been announced.
