Hyderabad Accept PM’s Good-Governance and Welfare Schemes

Ashish Sood

BJP's win in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Friday has given an apt reply to those who were saying that BJP is limited in just Hindi speaking part of the country.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP has been continuously winning elections in all parts of the country. Due to several development schemes and good-governance of the Modi government, Lotus has been blooming from Ladakh to Karnataka, from Gujarat to Manipur and it will continue.

Emerging from 4 seats in last GHMC polls to 48 seats in 2020 could have been possible because of PM Modi's development scheme, Home Minister Amit Shah's efforts and obviously the leadership of BJP president JP Nadda.

People of Greater Hyderabad have supported BJP and have put the BJP at second position. State ruling party TRS which had secured 99 seats in last GHMC polls was cut to 55 seats while AIMIM could managed to win only 44 seats.  BJP is just 8456 vote behind TRS.

frustrated with  back to back losses against BJP in several elections in past few years, opposition, especially the Congress have been alleging that AIMIM is BJP's B team. So now this mandate of GHMC has given an ample reply to them.

To make them more clear on it, I would like to tell those opposition friends that out of 48, 6 seats have won in Muslim-dominated region - Charminar. Winning 6 seats in Charminar region could have become possible only because of BJP's efforts and more importantly because of booth level party workers.

Also, I would like to mention that BJP is a national party and has gaining support globally more than any other political party in India. And therefore saying that BJP has any B or C party is completely a sign frustration of opposition.

What another important point in BJP’s massive win in Greater

Hyderabad is that people have voted against dynasticism and corruption. People of Hyderabad are now fed up with corruption  practices of both TRS and AIMIM and hence none of them were given majority in GHMC elections.

This mandate is also a signal that people of Hyderabad believe in PM Modi’s development model and good-governance. BJP will get more support in upcoming Assembly polls in Hyderabad.
