IPL final today to be Maharashtra derby clash between Pune and Mumbai

New Delhi:In IPL Cricket, two-time winner Mumbai Indians will lock horns with Rising Pune Supergiants in the title clash in Hyderabad on Sunday. The summit clash between two teams from Maharashtra is set to be a battle with huge reputations of big stars at stake.
Mumbai Indians will be playing their fourth final and should have been termed as clear favourites had it not been for Pune's Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who will be playing a record seventh IPL final.

Mumbai Indians trounce Kolkata Knight Riders, enter IPL final

With a convincing six-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders in the second qualifier at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru last night, Mumbai Indians entered the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL). 
Fielding after Rohit Sharma won the toss, Mumbai bowled out Kolkata for a paltry 107 in 18.5 overs before chasing down the target for the loss of four wickets with 33 balls to spare. Krunal Pandya showed maturity, finishing as Mumbai's top scorer with 45 off 30 balls, while Rohit contributed 26.

Indian archers to take on Colombia today in summit clash at Shanghai

New Delhi:India's compound men's archery team has advanced to the final of the season's first World Cup in Shanghai. The team comprising AbhishekVerma, ChinnaRajuSrither and Amanjeet Singh made the final after beating US' team in a closely-fought semifinal. The fourth seeded India will take on 10th seeds Colombia in Saturday's summit clash. 
In the mixed pair event, AbhishekVerma with JyothiSurekhaVennam entered the bronze medal play-off. Verma and Jyothi with take on the USA. The duo lost to second seeded Korean in the semifinals.

India retain top position in ICC Test ranking

India have retained its top position in the latest ICC Test rankings, released today. With 123 points, Kohli led side is six points ahead over the second placed South Africa.
India has gained one ranking point while South Africa has leaped from 109 to 117 points to reduce the gap to six points with the number one side. A total of 23 points separate India and Australia at the third position.
