New Delhi: It is the season of biopics in Bollywood; films like Sanju, Soorma and Bal Thackeray are cases in point. It is now the turn of Ajay Devgn to make one; he will soon be seen playing footballer Syed Abdul Rahim in an untitled film. South Indian actor Keerthy Suresh will mark her Bollywood debut as the female lead.


A report in Mumbai Mirror said, Syed Abdul Rahim biopic will be directed by Badhaai Ho director Amit Sharma and it is expected to go on the floors in June. It will chronicle the Indian football team’s glory from 1950 to 1963.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also tweeted about it. He wrote: “IT’S OFFICIAL... Keerthy Suresh - a leading name in South Indian films - to make her Hindi film debut opposite Ajay Devgn... #BadhaaiHo director Amit Sharma will direct... Produced by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta.”

New Delhi: Filmmaker Karan Johar has shared the stunning first look at this upcoming production, Kalank. He took to Instagram to share the post and asked fans to stay tuned for more on Thursday.

His post about the film—starring Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in lead roles—included a beautiful picture of a woman and man in a boat, surrounded by large flowers in a lake. The woman is dressed in all white while the man rows the boat. Their faces are not visible in the picture.

Actor John Abraham is back with yet another patriotic movie Romeo Akbar Walter. The trailer of the film was received well by the viewers for its captivating plot, John’s several looks and the catchy dialogues.

In one of the scenes, John can be seen descending the stairs with bloodstains on his face as a voice tells him “Bahar nikalne ke sabhi raste band ho chuke hain (All escape routes have been closed).” The Twitter users connected it with their daily struggles and came up with bizarre results.

Doctors In New York Had Told Sonali Bendre That She Had Stage IV Cancer And 30% Survival Chances

New Delhi: Sonali Bendre’s struggle against cancer has been an inspiration to millions who are battling this dreaded disease. Since July last year, when she first told her fans that she has been diagnosed with it, she has been constantly posting updates of her fight on social media and, quite literally, taken people along. While she has described about her feelings during the process, it is only now that she has opened up about the first few days when she came to know of her disease.

She said at first they weren’t told what stage of cancer she had. Subsequently, on reaching New York, it was her doctors there who told her that not only did she have Stage IV cancer, she had 30% chances of survival. She also said it was her husband Goldie Behl’s decision to go to New York and that till she reached New York, she wasn’t convinced about it.
