Saif Ali Khan Personally Apologizes To Kangna Ranaut After IIFA 2017 Nepotism Controversy

The 18th edition of IIFA took place in New York last weekend where the hosts Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan and IIFA debutante Varun Dhawan came under fire for taking potshots against Kangna Ranaut and made fun of her over her nepotism remarks that she had made during Koffee with Karan episode.

After the show aired, Varun Dhawan, Saif Ali Khan and Karan Johar were criticized on social media for making fun of a woman and her opinionated views when IIFA’s theme was about women empowerment.

Followed by KangnaRanaut’s appearance on the chat show KoffeeWith Karan, the actress left her footsteps on the show by fuelling up a controversy by calling the industry nepotistic in nature as well as terming Karan Johar as a movie mafia. While the matter settled down after a few digs and victim cards were thrown at each other, it resurfaced when Karan Johar and his friends cracked jokes on Nepotism at IIFA in Kangna’s absence.


Mah Govt Defends Decision To Release Sanjay Dutt Early From Jail

New Delhi: The Maharashtra government has come in strong defence of its decision to grant remission of eight months to actor Sanjay Dutt in the 1993 bomb blasts case, telling the Bombay High Court that it was done as per rules and no special treatment was given to him. 

Dutt was earlier sentenced to five years in jail for possession of arms, which were a part of the consignment used in the 1993 blasts.
