New Delhi: After a record-breaking performance on day 1, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s big-budget film from the Yash Raj Films camp, Thugs of Hindostan, is in freefall. The decline, which was so marked on day 2, continued on day 3. The writing is on the wall.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has made Rs 22.75 crore on Saturday, pushing the total to Rs 105 crore. At the end of three days, the Hindi version had made Rs 101.75 crores, with the Tamil and Telugu versions contributing the rest Rs 3.25 cr in the same period.

Piracy May Hit Thugs of Hindostan Badly At The Box Office With Record Opening

New Delhi: Thugs of Hindostan made its way to the piracy website Tamil Rockers hours after its release. Now the makers of the film might have to face a major disappointment as the film got leaked online after the reports of it recording the biggest opening in Bollywood history made headlines.

The film starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh opened at around Rs 50 crore nett, making it the biggest Diwali release ever.

However, the film which has been directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya film of Dhoom 3 fame and made under the banner of Yash Raj Films, got negative reviews from the critics. In no time, the moviegoers took to the social media to share their reactions and trolled the film with funny jokes and memes.

New Delhi: Sarkar has collected Rs 100 crore in its first two days and has broken records in several places for actor Vijay even as All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam protests Vijay’s latest offering. The film directed by AR Murugadoss is doing wonders at the box office.

The gross collections on first day were reportedly Rs 47.85 crore and the film has touched Rs 100 crore on the second day. The break up of different regions on second day is yet to be released. Also, the film has set a record on the ticket booking app Book My Show by crossing the milestone of 1 million tickets being booked online. A statement from the company also said that the advance booking of the film has increased two times when compared to Vijay’s previous outing, Mersal.
