Ajay Devgn Likely To Essay A Cameo In The Film Made By Bahubali Fame SS Rajamouli

New Delhi: After a long gap, post the success of Baahubali, SS Rajamouli is slowly but surely getting back to the filmmaker mode. It has already been announced that Ram Charan and Jr. NTR will come together for the first time for Rajamouli’s next film. Having recently gone on the floors, the project has been tentatively titled RRR and is being produced by DVV Danayya on a budget of Rs 300 crores.

For a long time, the makers didn’t reveal any details about the cast and crew of the project. Now, some reports suggest that Bollywood star Ajay Devgn might essay a cameo in the film. He will shoot for his character after wrapping up Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior.

New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut is clearly on fire with her latest release, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi - the film has collected Rs 7.15 crore in the third week of its release and made a total of Rs 91.70 crore at the domestic ticket windows, heading towards the Rs 100 crore club. However, the film made at an estimated budget of Rs 125 crore still has its work cut out.

Palekar Takes National Gallery Of Modern Art To Cleaners For Cancelling Exhibition Of Two Artists

New Delhi: Veteran actor-director Amol Palekar, who was last week interrupted during his speech by some members of the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) here, on February 10 said he was only trying to seek reasons behind the cancellation of retrospectives of two senior artists.

Retrospective is an exhibition or compilation showing the development of an artist's work over a period of time. At the opening of an exhibition in the memory of artist Prabhakar Barwe on Friday evening, Palekar was repeatedly interrupted during his speech by some NGMA members. A video available on social media showed Palekar criticising the Ministry of Culture for reportedly scrapping the advisory committees at the gallery's Mumbai and Bengaluru centres.


Devgn On Comedy Films: Need Brains To Make People Laugh

New Delhi: Ajay Devgn, who toplines "Golmaal" franchise and will next be seen in "Total Dhamaal", fails to understand why comedy films are labelled "brainless" as he believes it requires intellect to create funny content. The 49-year-old actor said comedians rule the entertainment business across the globe. "I don't know why they say it is brainless. It is not easy to make people laugh. Today in our country or all over the world, comedians are the biggest stars. Like here in India, we have Kapil Sharma. It needs intelligence to make people laugh, you just can't make faces and make people laugh," Ajay told PTI.

"Who doesn't want to laugh? Also, comedy films you can watch again and again. I don't mean that other (kind) of cinema is not great but this is also good," he added Ajay is the new addition to Indra Kumar's "Dhamaal" franchise, which was earlier headlined by Sanjay Dutt.
