Filmmaker Karan Johar Swaps Roles For Neha Dhupia’s Radio Show No Filter Neha

New Delhi: Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is currently hosting the sixth season of his talk show Koffee With Karan, swapped roles for Neha Dhupia’s radio show, No Filter Neha. The filmmaker was a guest on the show and spoke unabashedly about his unapologetic fashion choices, star kids and sex. Karan is known for asking questions regarding the sex lives of his guests on his chat show and spoke about his own sexual preferences at length on Neha’s show.

He even went on share a few tips for actors and directors about how to enact an orgasm scene. He advised the actors to eat terrible food the night before filming the scene and have a bout of loose motions but without a lavatory nearby. He even went on to enact the scene on radio leaving the host and listeners stunned.

Karan Johar Discusses In Detail His Upcoming Period Drama Takht At No Filter Neha

New Delhi: Filmmaker Karan Johar discussed his upcoming film, the period drama Takht, at length on Neha Dhupia’s talk show, No Filter Neha. Karan has assembled an ensemble cast of young stars that includes Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt and Bhumi Pednekar, who will be joined by veterans Kareena Kapoor Khan and Anil Kapoor.

“Takht is the most passionate piece of material that I think I will ever direct. I’m hugely passionate about it. I’m obsessed about the Mughal era ever since I can remember. That’s the one part of history that I was obsessed about in terms of its visual texture, its controversial content, the political betrayal, the love, the lust, the decadence, the debauchery, the madness, the violence, everything. That era is exotic and it’s gorgeous. It’s absolutely beautiful,” Karan said

Kannada Film KGF Edges Out The Most Expensive Film Of Shah Rukh Khan’s Career, Zero, at the box office

New Delhi: The Kannada film KGF has narrowly edged out the most expensive film of Shah Rukh Khan’s career, Zero, at the box office. KGF, a period drama mounted on a record budget for the Kannada film industry, has minted Rs 59.61 crore, while Zero’s opening weekend numbers came in at Rs 59.07 crore.

It should be noted that while KGF was released in multiple languages, Zero focussed on the north Indian market for its release. KGF’s Hindi dub version has made close to Rs 10 crore.

He wrote on Twitter that the south Indian film, starring Yash, had ‘gone from strength to strength’ over the weekend, making Rs 18.1 crore on Friday, Rs 19.2 crore on Saturday and a further Rs 21.8 crore on Sunday. Meanwhile, SRK’s Zero, directed by Aanand L Rai, opened to Rs 20.1 crore, and followed it up with Rs 18.2 crore and Rs 20.7 crore on Saturday and Sunday.

New Delhi: Actor Anushka Sharma has picked quite a few distinct roles in the recent years and is now back on screen with Zero in a new role. She plays Aafia Yusufzai Bhinder, a wheelchair-bound NASA scientist with cerebral palsy in the film. Zero also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif as a dwarf and an alcoholic movie star, respectively. As the film hit theatres this Friday, Anushka’s husband and cricketer Virat Kohli also took out time to watch the movie in Australia.

He took to Twitter to appreciate Zero, especially his wife’s performance. He tweeted, “Saw @Zero21Dec and loved the entertainment it brought. I enjoyed myself. Everyone played their parts well. Loved @AnushkaSharma performance because I felt it was a very challenging role and she was outstanding.”
